Role Value Proposition: 


Service Financials under the Technology Business Management Office provides the “Business” of IT with a transparent chargeback of its Service Catalog. The team ensures the financial health of the catalog through benchmarking and an industry standard taxonomy alignment. This enables the Business to make effective strategic decisions that maximize its return on its IT investments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely on the annual planning process and ensure that service mix and budgets are in line with management and business requirements. 
  • Monitors industry for new approaches to application development and implementation.
  • Enforce Service Governance by ensuring service feeds are maintained and ensuring financials are accurately represented
  • Ensure Service taxonomy alignment of IT expenses to enterprise standard
  • Provide Service level financial analysis for business cases and other special initiatives
  • Understand IT’s chargeback practices and articulate the methodology and approach
  • Partner with Service Owners to drive strategy in global enterprise services funding and introduce creative solutions in new engagements
  • Work closely with CFO partners to ensure the Bill of IT is processed monthly.
  • Supports the Develop service delivery strategy, determines the services to be offered, define tiered/differentiated services and measured with respect to value to the end user/stakeholders. 
  • Supports standardization, leveraging best practices for the service management delivery process across the organization.



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:



  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience in a public or private company environment with 4+ years financial reporting
  • Background in accounting and financial reporting
  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Must be able to communicate complex and strategic information clearly and effectively
  • Must meet established deadlines on a continual basis
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly proficient in financial reporting systems
  • Support reporting and analysis requirements for financial reports and disclosures


  • Financial modeling experience
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Apptio experience
  • SAFe/Agile Exposure
