Manage project quality assurance efforts, possibly across multiple applications. Ensure quality control of applications. Familiarity of working in traditional Waterfall Project methodology and equally the ability to work collaboratively in an AGILE & Dev Ops Methodology.

 

Key Relationships:

Reports to: Director - Quality assurance

Direct Reports: N/A

Other Key Stakeholders: IT Project Managers and Business System Analysts in Plan Organisation, CIO, Developers

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for leading end to end quality assurance engagement for Large Projects
  • Responsibility for the management of external Test Vendors throughout the Project Life Cycle to ensure quality outcomes
  • Responsible for estimating, planning, managing and status reporting on the quality assurance portion of the software development project
  • Validate the work of other quality assurance roles to ensure properly designed test cases and application of appropriate and efficient test analysis, design, and coverage
  • Defect trend analysis and root cause analysis

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent years’ experience
  • 7 + years related work experience
  • 3 + years’ experience in one or more of the following: .Net, Java / J2EE, C#, AS/400, DB2, MS SQL
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
