Role Value Proposition:

The Security Awareness Leader is responsible for managing complex cross departmental or enterprise wide projects for information security.  In this role the Securities Solution Owner will facilitate status and governance required communications; as well as instructor led/virtual needed training sessions.  As well as ensuring all information security programs are driven off a holistic approach and tied to enterprise goals; as well as the best interest of our customers. Being able to identify and assemble the resources required to support the work, partner with the customer to define the approach and scope of projects, resolve issues and report critical items, including action plans to management.  Accountable for ensuring all programming reporting are satisfied, provides subject matter expertise support to the team, and develops and implements projects level guidance.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees various highly complex information security projects, inclusive of awareness, training and marketing of security services, communications and thought leadership
  • Provides oversight and works with the project team to monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of work, while ensuring the ultimate success of the program
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including all key stakeholders and vendors
  • Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities and identifies resources needed
  • Determines and documents program and project scope and deliverables based on documentation and requirements supplied

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related field experience required
  • 7+ years of experience in various business or technology roles with progressive responsibility, preferably within the financial services industry
  • 8-10 years’ project and program management experience
  • Subject matter expert in project management concepts such as Scope, Communication, Financial and Risk Management practices
  • Experience working with Project Portfolio Management tools
  • Possesses strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Comprehensive to expert knowledge with technology concepts and system development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with managing offshore teams and/or vendors
