Responsibilities:

• Support to develop capital solutions including reinsurance to make better use of capital and optimize the balance sheet
• Conduct financial analyses to execute capital solutions including reinsurance
• Produce required metrics and sensitivities for capital management purpose
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to execute capital solutions including reinsurance
• Manage a small team
   

Requirements:

Experience:

• Life Insurance experience or comparable financial industry experience
• Working experience in the insurance or finance fields for 5 plus years

Skills:

• Ability to drive a business proposal from idea formulation to implementation.
• Negotiation skills
• Business writing skills, presentation skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Qualifications: Actuarial skills at associate level and above

Language:

• Japanese: native proficiency
• English: fluent proficiency. Interacting with counterparts in other countries, especially in the US, is likely

Personality:

• A good self-starter who can work as a team
