Assistant Manager

 

Basic Function

This position is expected create various reports, decks, slides for reports etc to leadership team. He/She will be expected to perform analytics on data received from various functions, do reporting and governance activities, dashboarding and small utility tool development using VBA/power Query, PowerPivot, Power BI, advanced Excel along with any other adhoc work that comes across.

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the working on LOB level data and present it effectively
  • Should be able to do multi-tasking
  • Should have analytical mindset to ensure that there are enhancements done to the data set
  • Work closely with Customer and team to achieve all the expectation
  • Handle all the MIS related Customer and Management level reporting
  • Attend conference calls related to Absence set-up issues/topics and provide consultation relative to resolution and next steps
  • Good understanding of performance attributes i.e TAT, Quality, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support internal/external projects for the building of business requirements, design input
  • Identify, solution and implement process and system improvements through continuous business and procedural analysis
  • Extract existing data to calculate/format into presentable reports, charts and graphs. Add insight/draw inferences from raw data. Identify data anomalies, critically analyze and propose corrections
  • Based on the weekly/monthly statistical analysis (Pareto, Histogram, Scatter Plot, Box Plot, Bubble Graphs, Bar, Line, Pie & Control charts) prepared on the above mentioned key metrics
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to comprehend requirements and conceptualize data analysis and visualization
  • Strong data analysis and superior problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC Application Skills (MS Office, including PowerPoint and Advanced Excel) and Using Excel Productively
  • Strong VBA and macro development skills
  • Working knowledge of Power Query
  • Proficient in Data & Business Analysis and Ability to break complex data and evaluation insights clearly and concisely
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels, including understanding, documenting complex ideas and requirements into actionable steps
  • Must be flexible to mirror / overlap US Daytime work hours
  • Power BI and Power query will have additional advantage

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral with the ability to explain complex subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences so that issues are understood quickly and stakeholders are suitably engaged.
  • Ability to drive continuous process improvement including the development of new processes and systems

  • Self-starter & self-motivated, well organized and flexible with a sense of urgency approach
  • Used to a fast pace of working and willing to commit to long working hours to achieve project deadlines when required

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

 

Work Experience Requirements

  • 2-3 years relevant workplace experience in all work products
  • Proficiency with software such as MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel identifying and understanding differences and similarities within multiple large data sets and software applications
