We are looking for a new Senior Tax Accountant to join the Global Tax Team of our Center of Excellence in Buenos Aires.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist in prep of GAAP Consolidation and close process for the effective tax rate, current roll-forwards, deferred roll-forwards, cash paid report, deferred inventory.
  • Support financial reporting teams by generating and providing support for disclosures.
  • Learn tax provision reporting system over Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud tool and leverage to full potential toward tax transformational goals and to guide end user’s inquiries for submission process. 
  • Follow-up with country and regional tax team contacts to support the GAAP consolidation process for open items questions/inquiries.
  • Support key tax transformation initiatives to standardize, centralize and automate tax provision calculations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with tax provision teams globally to design new processes and enhancements to the tax provision calculation.
  • Support tax provision teams with day-to-day processes and usage of tax provision software
  • Document processes and decisions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of tax and accounting to accomplish principal responsibilities.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation
  • Minimum 5-8 years of income tax accounting experience in preparation, review and/or audit capacity in a tax practice or an accounting firm.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks workload and comply with financial reporting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
